I'm section 18, closer to the top. Had 4 ND fans behind us and 2

New Yorkers sitting beside me at their first game (Mother who's son is a freshman at VT and her daughter). They were very nice and so happy to visit SWVa. Talked about how much nicer everyone here was.
There have been some foul mouthed idiots here and there. At the MTSU game my father got into an argument with a younger man behind us that was yelling F-this and F-that about every play and every coach and every player. Last night there was a screaming chick that was annoying, but not too bad.
The music is what it is. I don't mind it and I even know some of the songs. Seems like the most "rowdy" aka younger fans love the music and they're having a good time....and you can see the players love the songs too. So I'm ok with it. I do hate it when we play loud music right up to the snap, especially when we have the ball.
We got to Beeks at 5:30 and it was full, but being a teacher there, they let me in to squeeze in where I could find a spot. The teachers that were taking money said the group running the other elementary school lot got there at 3:30 and it was already filled up, so they got no money from any of the cars. It was insane.
We went in to the gate 90 minutes before kickoff and walked right in. No line at all and no line at the SEZ concession stands. It was wonderful.
Coming back home to Christiansburg, I don't know what happened, but there was absolutely no traffic. Didn't have to come to a stop one single time. Made it back to the house in less than 15 minutes. I assume everybody was either on the bypass or staying late to tailgate (and it did take us about 10 minutes to get out of the stadium because of the line trying to leave at the end.
